Puppy Guarantee

At Bear Branch Retrievers we are confident with our breeding program and are pleased that you have chosen one of our puppies as your newest family member.  

Pups bred and whelped at Bear Branch Retrievers carry a 26 month hip and eye guarantee.  This guarantee covers any genetic problem that would prevent this animal’s hips from being certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), or the animal’s eyes from being registered with the Canine Eye Registration Foundation, Inc. (C.E.R.F.). 

 

It is impossible to state that any given dog will be completely free of genetic imperfections. In our breeding program we only breed genetically and physically sound dogs as evidenced through various certification processes. Our efforts do not guarantee perfect results but the odds of our puppies being genetically and physically sound are greatly enhanced by our breeding selections.

 

Please note: Our puppies are sold in good faith. None of our puppies are sold for any specific use such as a brood bitch, stud dog, field trial or hunt test competitor. In order for this guarantee to be valid there are buyer requirements that must be strictly adhered to. The buyer requirements are stipulated in the sections below.
